GIRLS LEADING OUR WORLD

This exciting DIY event series, powered by the Academy of Enterprising Girls, is all about empowering young women, fostering leadership, and uniting school communities to support ambitious girls. GLOW engages female secondary school students through a series of events designed to ignite inspiration, cultivate curiosity, and expand their influence through interactive and reflective sessions.

This year, we’re thrilled to welcome Sophia Rizzo as our GLOW 2025 Ambassador! At just 17 years old, Sophia is the powerhouse behind Glitter Girl — the vibrant beauty brand she boldly launched at the age of 10. Built on self-expression, confidence, and fun, Glitter Girl has grown into a global movement that empowers young people to sparkle inside and out.

Sophia proves that age is no barrier to ambition. With creativity, courage, and a whole lot of glitter, she’s built a brand with purpose and heart — and now she’s here to show your students how they can shine in their own way.

How big is your school’s auditorium or hall?! There’s no minimum number required but we suggest getting your whole school, including male students!  To ensure a successful GLOW event, we recommend having an organising committee of at least 3-5 students (assisted by a teacher) who can take the lead in organising and championing the event which they will then host within your school community.

This amazing prize will be awarded to the school that shows the most enthusiasm, creativity, and leadership! We want to see students not just embrace this challenge but lead it with ambition and initiative. The bigger the effort, the better—the more excitement, the better. Show us how your school can take GLOW and make it a truly exceptional event! Tag us on social media, email us, get your school on the news…show us how you GLOW!
