Now you have an idea, we’ll explore how to quickly develop a prototype so you can show off your business ideas to others to get their support and feedback on your concept.

- Generate, develop and produce prototypes by investigating, selecting and combining a range of materials, tools and equipment
- Investigate, experiment, test and evaluate the success of design solutions in terms of aesthetics, functionality and sustainability
- Document and communicate the development of design ideas
- Use project management processes (organise time, evaluate decisions and manage resources) when working individually and collaboratively
- Apply enterprising behaviours; such as taking on a leadership role, accepting responsibility and working with others during the project

- Identify and evaluate the potential costs and benefits of economic decisions
- Estimate how much their business or enterprise will cost to set up and run
- Build and develop a financial model to meet financial goals and to ensure their business or enterprise is making a profit
- Use economics and business terms and concepts such as income, costs, benefits, revenue, profit, loss, budget etc.
- Listen to and apply financial feedback and advice from successful Girl Founders
