This week marked an extraordinary milestone for one of our brightest young entrepreneurs – Ayla, our 2025 Enterprising Girl of the Year. We are beyond proud to share that Ayla travelled to Government House in Canberra to pitch her business idea, Grounded Beauty, in front of none other than the Governor-General of Australia.

From the moment Ayla joined our community, her passion, drive and creativity have stood out. Grounded Beauty, her innovative, eco-conscious skincare concept, reflects exactly what we hope to inspire in young girls: confidence, curiosity and the courage to build something that matters!

But it wasn’t just the pitch that made this moment special. It was watching Ayla walk into Government House with grace, excitement, and a spark that lit up everyone around her. She represented herself, her family and our program with exceptional poise, it’s hard to believe she’s just 11 years old!
